The report, using the UN Habitat’s Waste Wise Cities Tool methodology, is an important milestone for the CLOCC programme in Chengalpattu. It provides significant insights into the waste management and waste leakage into the environment and oceans. It also lays the foundation for the development of a sustainable waste management system for Chengalpattu, which can be replicated to other parts of India and the world.
This webinar will present the main findings of the baseline report, and provide insights into the CLOCC programme, and its progress and goals in India. The webinar will be hosted by Avfall Norge (Norwegian Waste Management and Recycling Association), the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) and Ambire Global.

Handlingsplanen REsourceEU

Bruk av lystgass som rusmiddel er farlig, og skaper trøbbel for avfallsanlegg, fordi beholderne ofte havner i restavfallet. Sirk Norge har bedt om strengere regler, nå følger regjeringen opp.
